Green and Gray

A couple of weeks ago I squished through the green into this soggy, boggy, and buggy meadow on the shores of Baker Lake. I'm pretty sure it's a little drier now after all the sunshine.

January Sunset

We spent the weekend at home due to some...how should I put it....indiscretions by my son. Who put a teenager in my six year old's body? It was a good old-fashioned grounding but I quickly realized I was punishing myself as well. The weather was spectacular in the Pacific NW and I was stuck staring at it through a window. I tried to make the best of it and worked up some old files I'd never gotten around to processing.

Reflections

On Monday, I did something I rarely do. After dropping off my son at day camp, I wandered the streets of downtown Seattle with my camera. While I'm not giving up landscape photography to pursue a new life as an urban artist, it was fun doing something different for a change of pace. I was circling around the Space Needle snapping the usual compositions when I saw its reflection on the walls of the EMP Museum.
