Last Day Of Summer

Somehow you know it.

The sky is blue, the rocks are warm from the sun, and the air is rich with the scent of dry pine needles. It may look and feel like summer but it's not.

You look deeper at your surroundings and realize change is in the air. The days are short, the north slopes are cold from the lack of sun, and wisps of clouds are streaming across the sky high above the peaks. Change is com

Somehow you know it. This may be the last summer-like day of the year. So what do you do? Just wander down the trail across the warm granite slabs and soak it all in.
